Synopsis
 English 		Hideous Bill & the Gi-Gants tells a delightfully odd rescue mission in which Bill has to save his girlfriend Greta from the clutches of giant ants. Each stage has its own focus, as you first need to destroy every egg while several giants constantly try to take Bill down. The warp tunnels on both sides are especially useful for moving quickly across the area, and the scattered items add even more variety to the action. Spears, ways to trap enemies, and later even beans for breaking through walls keep introducing new ideas until the adventure finally leads to the rescue of Bill's true love.

 German 		Hideous Bill & the Gi-Gants erzählt eine herrlich schräge Rettungsmission, bei der Bill seine Freundin Greta aus den Klauen riesiger Ameisen befreien muss. Jeder Abschnitt verfolgt dabei ein eigenes Ziel, denn zunächst müssen sämtliche Eier zerstört werden, während mehrere Riesen Bill ständig zusetzen. Praktisch sind die Warp-Tunnel an den Seiten, mit denen du schnell die Position wechseln kannst, und auch die verteilten Gegenstände bringen Abwechslung ins Geschehen. Speere, Fallenmöglichkeiten und später sogar Bohnen zum Einreißen von Wänden sorgen dafür, dass das Spiel immer wieder neue Ideen einbringt, bis es schließlich zur Rettung der großen Liebe kommt.

Its appeal mainly comes from the constant mix of exploring, collecting items, and using them in the right places. Since you can only carry two objects at once, a bit of planning is required, while small action sequences and dangerous enemies keep the pressure up. The limited time and Herbert's sensitive tear meter make the whole adventure even more hectic and give it a charmingly stressful feel.
