 French 		Hell For Leather était un projet ambitieux de James Macdonald, développé sous son label Psycodelic Software Developments. Initialement conçu comme une démonstration technique de défilement parallaxe fluide, le projet a évolué pour devenir un jeu complet. Bien que presque achevé, il n'a jamais été officiellement commercialisé en raison de litiges concernant les droits d'auteur et du vol du jeu lors d'un salon professionnel à Londres. Malgré ces obstacles, le projet met en lumière le talent de Macdonald et sa capacité à produire des résultats impressionnants sans contraintes de temps.
