Synopsis
 English 		Every Second Counts is a computer game based on the popular UK television show of the 1980's. This is a quiz show game for either 3 couples or 6 individuals, single players compete with a computer partner, where contestants compete to win seconds, not points. The player with the most seconds takes part in the final round where those seconds are the time they have available to compete. There are 6 blocks of questions so the game can be played 6 times before some categories come up a second time. The team with the greatest number of seconds competes in the final round. The team chooses 1 of 2 categories of question. They take turns in answering a series of 6 questions within their time limit. If all questions are answered correctly then they team is presented with a further set of 7 questions which they attempt to answer within the remaining time. At the end of the final round the team's score is displayed on the Every Second Counts trophy screen.

Il gioco presenta il motore esistente nei precedenti giochi Hugo insieme ad alcune nuove funzionalità. Questi includono un pulsante turbo e una funzione di "suggerimenti". In questo gioco Hugo e la sua ragazza Penolope si schiantano in una giungla da qualche parte in Sud America e lei viene presto morsa da un serpente velenoso. Mentre Hugo ti avventuri nella giungla, affronta uno stregone e cerca di trovare la "piscina della vita".
