Synopsis
 French 		Le joueur pilote le Gundam RX-78-2 dans des phases de combat au sol et dans des phases de vol dans l'espace, en utilisant diverses armes pour détruire les ennemis. Les conversations radio des autres personnages sont diffusées tout au long de chaque phase, et il est souvent nécessaire de détruire tous les ennemis d'une zone pour faire avancer l'histoire. Au fur et à mesure que les missions sont accomplies, des armes supplémentaires deviennent disponibles et le joueur peut personnaliser son équipement avant chaque étape. L'attaque Newtype est particulièrement intéressante : lorsqu'elle est chargée et verrouillée, elle inflige des dégâts instantanés aux ennemis ciblés, y compris ceux qui se trouvent au premier plan et à l'arrière-plan et qui sont hors de portée des attaques normales.

Synopsis
 English 		The player pilots the titular RX-78-2 Gundam in both ground-based run-and-gun and space-based flight stages, using various weapons to destroy enemies; Radio chatter from other characters plays throughout each stage, and it is often necessary to destroy all enemies in an area to advance the story. As missions are completed, additional weapons become available and the player can customize their equipment loadout before each stage. Of special note is the Newtype Attack, which when charged and locked on will deal instant damage to targeted enemies, including enemies in the foreground and background outside the range of normal attacks.
