Jeder Level ist aus Räumen zusammengesetzt, die durch Fahrstühle, Löcher im Boden, Luftschächte und Türen miteinander verbunden sind. Auf dem Weg zum Ausgang trachten Euch miese Schläger, Messerstecher und sogar der wahnsinnige Wecker aus dem Film nach der Energie. Doch mit Euren Leinwand-erprobten Handschuh-, Wirbel- und Holzhammer-Attacken knüppelt Ihr die Fieslinge in den Boden. Am Ende jedes Levels stellt sich eine polternde Höllenmaschine, eine schieß­wütige Oma oder der Verbrecherfürst Dorian selbst zum Duell. Hat Euch einer der Grobiane ordentlich die Visage poliert, müßt Ihr nicht unbedingt am Level­anfang beginnen: In jeder Welt ist ein gelber Hut versteckt, der Euch als nützlicher Rücksetzpunkt dient.

Anglais The Mask is based on the movie with the same name. The story follows poor guy Stanley Ipkiss who finds a mysterious mask and is given mysterious powers from it..

As in the movie, Stanley (aka The Mask) has some funny weapons, like the Guns, the Horn, the Hammer and the ability to transform into a big Tornado. He battles through levels inspired by the movie, including his apartment, the city streets, the bank, the park, the jail, and the night club for the final showdown.
