Allemand Tin Star ist ein Shoot 'em up-Videospiel, das von Software Creations entwickelt und von Nintendo im November 1994 für das SNES in Nordamerika veröffentlicht wurde. In der Hauptrolle anthropomorphe Roboterfiguren, folgt es einem siebentägigen Abenteuer des titelgebenden Sheriffs, der die kriminelle Bad Oil Gang davon abhält, die Stadt East Driftwood zu übernehmen.

Von Montag bis Sonntag besteht jeder Tag aus Schießübungen mit einem Krug, Action-Levels und einem Schießduell mit einem Mitglied der Bad Oil Gang. Das Spiel hat 31 Levels. Obwohl der Spieler in allen Sequenzen das Fadenkreuz der Waffe auf dem Bildschirm steuert, unterscheiden sie sich im Gameplay-Stil: Third-Person-Segmente finden auf Fahrgeschäften, bei Überfällen und in der Stadt statt, während First-Person-Levels in Gefängnissen, Banken und Saloons angesiedelt sind.

Anglais Tin Star is a robot Sheriff in the Ol' West. He has vowed to rid the town of the Bad Oil gang and their leader, Black Bart, within a week. Along with his sidekick Mo Crash and even more importantly his six-gun he will try to accomplish this task.

The game takes place over a week with each day being a different stage. Stages are broken down into 4 parts. The first part is a training section where players can practice shooting. The next two parts are action scenes. In the action scenes, gameplay consists of moving a cross-hair over various enemies and shooting them. The final part ends the day with a showdown. The showdown involves a one on one duel in which a draw icon will randomly pop up anywhere on the screen which must be shot then immediately afterwards the enemy the player is facing then must also be shot. This continues on until either the player's or the enemy's life bar is drained.

If a player doesn't shoot an energy canteen during a level a bonus screen will appear. The bonus screen shows a woman spinning around on a round board with stars next to her body. Shooting the stars without missing and without accidentally shooting the woman will help players pick up large amounts of money.

At the end of a level the amount of money made is tallied up. For every bullet wasted and damage taken the player loses money. The player gains money equal to the their accuracy and the amount of energy they had left at the end of the stage.
Espagnol En lugar de niveles, el juego se divide en días, cada uno de los cuales a su vez cuenta con cuatro pruebas diferentes conocidas como escenas. La primera de las escenas es el entrenamiento, en el que nuestro objetivo primordial será acumular la mayor cantidad de dinero posible disparando a las jarras que se encuentren en el escenario. Después de esta escena viene la conocida como Acción (Action en ingles), en el que tendremos que viajar por parajes variados, siendo por supuesto nuestra misión disparar y acabar con los enemigos que nos salgan al encuentro, pudiendo haber tanto escenas en primera como en tercera persona. La tercera escena es la del enfrentamiento contra un jefe concreto, conocida esta escena en inglés como Showdown. En estos enfrentamientos tenemos que disparar al icono del tambor de balas de un revólver cuando aparezca en pantalla y luego disparar al oponente tan rápidamente como sea posible. La última escena del día será una fase de bonus en la que habrá que disparar una serie de estrellas cerca de una mujer que da vueltas sobre una mesa redonda sin alcanzar accidentalmente a la mujer.

Français Tin Star est un jeu de tir au Superscope ou à la souris (mais également jouable à la manette) se déroulant dans un univers Western/SF. Le joueur endossera le rôle de Tin Star, un robot sheriff qui devra combattre les ennemis à coups de revolver. Son périple se fera au travers de niveaux variés et colorés à l'ambiance cartoon, soutenus par des musiques entrainantes. Le jeu dispose de 3 fins différentes selon votre score/revenu. Bienvenue dans le far west de Tin Star !

Portugais Em vez de níveis, o jogo é dividido em dias, cada um dos quais apresenta quatro testes diferentes conhecidos como cenas. A primeira cena é o treino, em que nosso principal objetivo será acumular o máximo de dinheiro possível atirando nas jarras que estão no palco. Después de esta escena viene la conocida como Acción (Action en ingles), en el que tendremos que viajar por parajes variados, siendo por supuesto nuestra misión disparar y acabar con los enemigos que nos salgan al encuentro, pudiendo haber tanto escenas en primera como en terceira pessoa. A terceira cena é o confronto contra um chefe específico, conhecido em inglês como Showdown. Nestes confrontos temos que atirar no ícone do tambor de bala de um revólver quando ele aparece na tela e depois atirar no oponente o mais rápido possível. A última cena do dia será uma fase bônus em que você terá que atirar em uma série de estrelas perto de uma mulher que está girando sobre uma mesa redonda sem bater acidentalmente na mulher.
