Anglais Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes is the sequel to the 2D fighting game Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes.
The game allows you to tag in all three players (instead of two, while the third is only used for special attacks, in the predecessor).
There are now up to 56 characters to use (most you have to unlock), including new characters like Jill Valentine from Resident Evil and Tron Bonne from Mega Man Legends.
Another new gameplay feature allows your team mates to come in during battle and give you a little health boost. This helps in lasting the distance in Survival mode, but they can also be hit by on coming attacks from the enemy.

Espagnol Con esta nueva entrega de la saga, Capcom simplificó el motor para que fuese más accesible para los jugadores casuales, con el fin de atraer a más jugadores nuevos. Se realizaron cambios en el sistema de Air Combos y la configuración de los botones se redujo a sólo cuatro botones principales y dos botones de asistencia. Éste videojuego también presenta equipos 3 vs. 3, en comparación los equipos de 2 vs. 2 de los anteriores videojuegos de la saga. Es el único videojuego de la saga que utiliza el sistema Sega NAOMI, utilizado sobre todo para los videojuegos 3D. Se puede apreciar sobre todo en éste videojuego en los fondos de escenarios y efectos del sistema, como así también en la esfera misteriosa del personaje Abyss. Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes fue posteriormente porteado para Sega Dreamcast, Microsoft Xbox y Sony PlayStation 2. Posteriormente, se anunció que la versión de Sega Dreamcast sería porteada a Microsoft Xbox 360 y Sony PlayStation 3 como contenido de descarga por medio de Xbox Live Arcade y PlayStation Network, respectivamente.
