Anglais odzilla: Rettō Shinkan is an isometric-view real-time strategy game based on the famous kaiju monster movie series created by Toho. The player controls the JSDF forces and must attempt to repel Godzilla and other monsters, protecting Japan from destruction. Each mission contains a different map, scenario, and set of monsters to fight off. The player can select to various military vehicles and issue various commands to each, such as to move to a specific location or attack a particular target. Multiple monsters often appear on the same map, and may even fight against each other, not necessarily a good thing as they may cause immense collateral damage. To clear a stage, the player must defeat all monsters on the stage before either their forces are depleted or the city sustains too much damage.
The game includes a story scenario with 10 missions, as well as a free mission mode with an additional 10 missions.

Français Godzilla : Rettō Shinkan est un jeu de stratégie en temps réel en vue isométrique basé sur la célèbre série de films de monstres kaiju créée par Toho. Le joueur contrôle les forces de la JSDF et doit tenter de repousser Godzilla et d'autres monstres, en protégeant le Japon de la destruction. Chaque mission contient une carte, un scénario et des monstres différents à combattre. Le joueur peut sélectionner différents véhicules militaires et leur donner divers ordres. Parfois plusieurs monstres apparaissent et peuvent même se battre entre eux, ce qui n'est pas forcément une bonne chose car ils peuvent causer des dommages collatéraux. Pour finir la mission, le joueur doit vaincre tous les monstres qui s'y trouvent avant que leurs forces ne soient épuisées ou que la ville ne subisse trop de dégâts.
Le jeu comprend un scénario avec 10 missions, ainsi qu'un mode mission libre avec 10 missions supplémentaires.
