Anglais Sega's 8-bit systems received a unique adaptation of Disney's 1992 animated film Aladdin.

Like other versions, it is a side-scrolling action game. The player controls Aladdin, making his way through a variety of locations, including the streets of Agrabah, the Cave of Wonders, the Sultan's palace and more. Gameplay takes several different forms: some levels are chases, where Aladdin runs automatically, but must be made to jump over chasms or rolling rocks and barrels, evade falling objects and avoid getting caught by a guard. Other levels are platforming affairs: Aladdin must run, jump and climb, find keys or switches to open doors while searching for the exit. Rocks can be collected and be thrown to dispatch enemies or hit buttons otherwise out of reach. Finally, there are also several magic carpet rides in the game, in which the level scrolls automatically and the player must make sure to avoid any obstacles in the way.

Français Reprenant les différentes séquences du film d'animation de Disney, Aladdin sur Game Gear permet de retrouver tous les personnages de l'histoire. Ce jeu de plates-formes propose effectivement de suivre Aladdin des rues d'Agrabah aux couloirs du palais royal en passant bien sûr par la célèbre caverne aux merveilles. Le Génie est aussi de la partie et permet de gagner des bonus.

Come altre versioni, è un gioco d'azione a scorrimento laterale. Il giocatore controlla Aladdin, facendosi strada attraverso una varietà di luoghi, tra cui le strade di Agrabah, la Grotta delle Meraviglie, il palazzo del Sultano e altro ancora. Il gioco assume diverse forme: alcuni livelli sono inseguimenti, in cui Aladdin corre automaticamente, ma deve essere fatto per saltare oltre voragini o rotolare pietre e barili, schivare oggetti che cadono ed evitare di essere catturato da una guardia. Altri livelli sono questioni platform: Aladdin deve correre, saltare e arrampicarsi, trovare chiavi o interruttori per aprire le porte mentre cerca l'uscita. Le rocce possono essere raccolte ed essere lanciate per eliminare i nemici o premere pulsanti altrimenti fuori portata. Infine, ci sono anche diverse corse sul tappeto magico nel gioco, in cui il livello scorre automaticamente e il giocatore deve assicurarsi di evitare qualsiasi ostacolo sulla strada.
