Allemand Gradius II ist eine Fortsetzung von Gradius und Life Force und ist ein horizontaler Raumschütze, der aus 7 Ebenen besteht.
Wie bei seinem Vorgänger können Sie Power-Ups von Gegnern sammeln und auswählen, welche Sie wann einsetzen möchten. Diesmal ist dieses System verbessert worden, da Sie zwischen 4 verschiedenen Power-Up-Sequenzen wählen können, mit denen Sie verschiedene Waffentypen gegen Ihre Feinde einsetzen können. Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit, Optionen zu gewinnen, d.h. mysteriöse Feuerbälle, die Ihr Raumschiff genau verfolgen und alle seine Bewegungen (einschließlich Schüsse) nachahmen. Während Sie in Gradius nur 2 davon haben konnten, können Sie jetzt bis zu 4 davon haben.

Anglais Gradius II is a sequel to Gradius, and Life Force, and is a horizontal space shooter composed of 7 levels.
Like it's predecessor, you can collect power up from enemies and chose which ones to use when. This time, this system is enhanced because you can chose between 4 different power-up sequences, allowing you to use differents types of weapons against your enemies. There is also the possibility to gain options, which are mysterious balls of fire that follows your spaceship closely and mimic all its movements (including shots). While you only could have 2 of them in Gradius, you now can have up to 4 of them.

Espagnol Gradius 2 es un "Shoot'm Up" de scroll lateral. Al disparar a los enemigos, estos liberan una cápsula, la cual podrás recoger para aumentar el poder de tu nave espacial. Cada nivel presenta una gran variedad de enemigos que intentan detenerte, con un gran jefe al final. El juego es para un jugador o dos jugadores alternativos.

Français Gradius 2 est un "Shoot'm Up" à défilement horizontal. Lorsqu'ils tirent sur les ennemis, ils libèrent une capsule que vous pouvez collecter pour augmenter la puissance de votre vaisseau spatial. Chaque niveau a une grande variété d'ennemis qui essaient de vous arrêter, avec un boss à la fin. Le jeu est pour un joueur ou deux joueurs alternatifs.
