Allemand FINAL FANTASY IV: THE AFTER YEARS ist die Fortsetzung des überaus erfolgreichen RPGs FINAL FANTASY IV.

Die Handlung vollzieht sich viele Jahre nach den ursprünglichen Geschehnissen und erzählt von einem jungen Mann namens Ceodore, dem Sohn des Paladins Cecil und der Weißmagierin Rosa, die einst mit ihren treuen und standhaften Freunden die Welt vor dem Bösen bewahrten, das dem zweiten Mond entsprungen war.

Und jetzt erscheinen wieder Monster in einer Welt, die endlich Frieden gefunden hatte. Der zweite Mond ist zurückgekehrt. Was wird dieser Vorbote mit sich bringen? Bekannte Gesichter und neue Gefährten nehmen an dem Kampf teil, der den blauen Planeten wieder einmal vor einer dunklen Bedrohung retten soll.

Français Final Fantasy IV : Les Années Suivantes sur Wii nous raconte la suite de Final Fantasy IV. Le soft, proposé sous la forme d'épisodes téléchargeables, était sorti sur mobile au Japon. L'histoire nous permet de découvrir le devenir des héros du volet original, mais se focalise également sur leurs descendants. Les notions de phases lunaires et d'attaques de coopération ont été rajoutées pour dynamiser le gameplay traditionnel de la série.
