Allemand Basierend auf der Anime-Animeserie Dragon Ball Z beginnt das Spiel damit, dass Kuririn, Gohan und Bulma von Freezers Handlangern in Namek angegriffen werden, und folgt der Geschichte bis zum Kampf zwischen Freezer und Goku. Das Gameplay ist dem von Dragon Ball Z: Gokū Hishōden sehr ähnlich, allerdings mit einigen bemerkenswerten Unterschieden, da den Spielern jetzt nur eine begrenzte Zeit zur Verfügung steht, um eine Abfolge von Aktionen für jede Runde auszuwählen. Als nächstes findet der Kampf auf einer kleinen Karte statt, wobei sich die Köpfe der beiden Charaktere im Quadrat bewegen. Anglais Based on the anime Dragon Ball Z anime series, the game begins as Kuririn, Gohan and Bulma are attacked by Freeza's henchmen at Namek, and follows the story until the battle between Freeza and Goku. The gameplay is very simillar to Dragon Ball Z: Gokū Hishōden, although with some notable differences, as players now have a limited amount of time while choosing a sequence of actions for each turn. Next, the battle will take place in a small map with the heads of the two characters moving around the quadrilater, and a graphic representation of what the characters are doing is illustrated above through anime-like drawings. Next characters need to charge power, aim and attack. A hit damage value shows up on the screen after each impact suffered.

Espagnol Basado en la serie de anime Dragon Ball Z, el juego comienza cuando Kuririn, Gohan y Bulma son atacados por los esbirros de Freeza en Namek, y sigue la historia hasta la batalla entre Freeza y Goku. La jugabilidad es muy parecida a la de Dragon Ball Z: Gokū Hishōden, aunque con algunas diferencias notables, ya que ahora los jugadores tienen un tiempo limitado mientras eligen una secuencia de acciones para cada turno. Le jeu se passe peu après la bataille de Freezer, la plupart des personnages sur Namek peuvent être combattus dans le mode histoire.
Le jeu propose cinq personnages jouable ainsi que Son Gokû jouable en Super Saiyan. Le jeu propose de nouveaux mini jeux, tels qu'esquiver les projectiles de Dodoria.
