Allemand In Shining Force Feather übernehmen die Spieler die Kontrolle über den Hauptcharakter Jin, einen Schatzjäger und Wanderer. Das Spiel spielt 3.000 Jahre nach dem Krieg zwischen den Kriegern der Shining Force und den feindlichen Kräften, die als Kyomu bekannt sind. Dieser Krieg ist heute vor allem durch Artefakte in Erinnerung geblieben, womit Jin ins Spiel kommt. Feather bietet ein rundenbasiertes, strategisches Kampfsystem aus der Vogelperspektive. Wählt man einen Gegner zum Angriff aus, wechselt die Ansicht in eine seitliche Perspektive. Dort erhält das Kampfsystem einen leicht actionbetonten Charakter, da per Tastendruck verschiedene Aktionen ausgewählt werden. Neben Einzelangriffen können Spieler ihre Einheiten auch für Kombinationsangriffe zusammenschließen.

Anglais In Shining Force Feather, players take control of main character Jin, a treasure hunter and wanderer. The game takes place 3,000 years following the war between the Shining Force warriors and enemy forces known as the Kyomu. That war is remembered primarily as artifacts, which is where Jin comes into the picture. Feather will feature a turn-based strategic battle system with an overhead perspective. Select an enemy for attack, and the game switches to a side perspective. Here, the battle system takes on somewhat of an action feel as you press buttons to select from various actions. In addition to solo attacks, the battle system will allow players to team up their forces for combination attacks.

Espagnol En Shining Force Feather, los jugadores toman el control del personaje principal Jin, un cazador de tesoros y vagabundo. El juego tiene lugar 3000 años después de la guerra entre los guerreros Shining Force y las fuerzas enemigas conocidas como Kyomu. Esa guerra se recuerda principalmente como artefactos, que es donde Jin entra en escena. Feather contará con un sistema de batalla estratégico por turnos con una perspectiva aérea. Selecciona un enemigo para atacar y el juego cambia a una perspectiva lateral. Aquí, el sistema de batalla adquiere una especie de sensación de acción al presionar los botones para seleccionar entre varias acciones. Français Shining Force Feather est un jeu de rôle tactique sur DS. Développé exclusivement pour la portable de Nintendo, le soft propose une jouabilité au tour par tour ponctuée de combats en temps réel lorsque deux unités se rencontrent. Sur un champ de bataille sans cases, mais avec des zones de déplacement délimitées pour chaque personnage, les affrontements permettent également de produire des attaques combinées aux effets dévastateurs.
