Allemand Das Action Spiel Final Blow spielt in der Welt des Boxsports. Der Spieler tritt als Figur gegen andere Figuren an, um sich in KO-Runden an ihnen zu messen ( Es gibt auch eine Computerliga mit wechselnden KI-Gegnern ). Die Runden dauen jeweils eine Minute und werden durch kurze Pausen unterbrochen. Wie beim richtigen Boxsport, ist hier auch das Ziel, den Gegner für 10 Sekunden auf die Bretter zu schicken, indem man ihn vorher mit Schlagkombinationen schwächt.Man kann Schläge blocken um eigenen Schaden zu vermeiden. Der Ring bietet nur begrenzten Raum, womit es auch möglich ist, Gegner in die Ecke zu drängen. Wenn geklammert wird, greift der Schiedsrichter ein.

Die Sega Genesis Version dieses Titels unterscheidet sich grundlegend von der mit gleichem Namen auf dem Master System und ist ein komplett anderes Spiel.

Anglais Final Blow is an action game based around the sport of boxing. You can play the fighters in a sequence of knock-out competitions, (the computer versions also include a round-robin league). Rounds last one minute, with a short break in between them. As in the real sport, your aim is to knock your opponent down for 10 seconds, by gradually weakening him with a series of punches. You can block punches, to avoid them inflicting damage onto you. The ring is of a limited size, so players can be cornered, although the referee will intervene to break the boxers up if they become entangled in a stalemate position.

The genesis version is not to be confused with the Master System game of the same name, which is entirely different.
Espagnol Final Blow es un juego de acción basado en el deporte del boxeo. Puedes jugar los luchadores en una secuencia de competiciones de eliminación directa (las versiones de computadora también incluyen una liga round-robin). Las rondas duran un minuto, con un breve descanso entre ellas. Como en el deporte real, tu objetivo es derribar a tu oponente durante 10 segundos, debilitándolo gradualmente con una serie de golpes. Puedes bloquear los golpes para evitar que te inflijan daño. Français Final Blow est un jeu de boxe sur Megadrive. La compétition vous attend à travers plusieurs combats intenses dans lesquels il est important de donner des coups mais aussi de les parer ou de les éviter. Chaque round dure une minute et il faut envoyer votre adversaire au tapis pendant dix secondes pour l'emporter.
Italien Final Blow è un gioco d'azione basato sullo sport della boxe. Puoi giocare i combattenti in una sequenza di competizioni a eliminazione diretta (le versioni per computer includono anche una lega round-robin). I turni durano un minuto, con una breve pausa tra di loro. Come nel vero sport, il tuo obiettivo è abbattere il tuo avversario per 10 secondi, indebolendolo gradualmente con una serie di pugni. Puoi bloccare i pugni, per evitare che ti infliggano danni. Portugais Originalmente batizado como Final Blow no Japão, a SEGA resolveu aproveitar a fama meteórica do boxeador James Buster Douglas para colocá-lo como principal personagem deste jogo no lançamento ocidental, que acabou, assim, herdando também o nome do pugilista no novo título. Trata-se de um jogo de boxe de movimentação lateral, com os modos carreira, para um jogador, e exibição, para até dois.
A versão de Mega Drive não deve ser confundida com o jogo de Master System de mesmo nome, que é completamente diferente.
