Yu-Gi-Oh! beehrt den Nintendo DS mit einem großartigen Karten-Kampfspiel. Du kannst Monster-, Fallen- und Zauber-Karten einsetzen. Mit dem Touchpen organisierst du dein Karten-Deck. Mit einer zweidimensionalen Ansicht der Karten auf dem unteren und einer 3D-Darstellung der Kämpfe auf dem oberen Bildschirm scheint Yu-Gi-Oh! wie gemacht für den DS. Außerdem kannst du aus über 1000 Karten auswählen, so dass eine intensive Karten-Schlacht garantiert ist. Wenn du am Zug bist, kannst du ein Monster in eine Angriffs- oder Verteidigungsposition bringen, magische Kräfte aktivieren, um deiner Kreatur zusätzliche Fähigkeiten zu verleihen, oder den Monstern deines Feindes einheizen. Nightmare Troubadour nutzt auch die Wireless-Konnektivität des DS aus, so dass du gegen einen Freund spielen oder mit ihm Karten tauschen kannst.

You can build a deck out of more than 1000 cards, including three exclusive trading cards that come with each game. The bottom screen represents the card game area, utilizing full touch capabilities, and the upper levels displays characters as they battle in full 3D. Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters: Nightmare Troubadour also supports wireless play, letting you challenge your friends to a duel or trade cards wirelessly.
