Anglais Midway's first extreme sports title that tackles the great American past-time... baseball. Take control of all of your favorite Major League Baseball teams and players armed with all of their real stats, attributes, abilities and attitude. Slugfest features many playable minigames, a season mode, quick play and exhibition play.

So what makes MLB Slugfest extreme? The game is far from a real baseball simulation. This is as arcade as it gets. Flaming fastballs that take out batters ankles (and reducing their stats), out-of-the-park home runs, dropkicking the catcher on your dash to home plate, kidney punching the batter who just ruined your no-hitter and many other brutal tactics bring sportsmanship to an all-new low.

Graphic touches include real player faces and details such as chewing gum and talking to teammates or opponents. Real stadiums all make their appearances along with several fantasy stadiums that can be unlocked.

Mais qu'est-ce qui rend MLB Slugfest extrême ? Le jeu est loin d'être une simulation réaliste de baseball. Il s'agit plutôt d'un jeu d'arcade. Des balles rapides enflammées qui éliminent les frappeurs (et réduisent leurs statistiques), des home runs hors du terrain, des dropkicks sur le receveur lors de votre sprint vers le marbre, des coups de poing dans les reins du frappeur qui vient de ruiner votre no-hitter et bien d'autres tactiques brutales qui font tomber l'esprit sportif à un niveau jamais vu.

Italien MLB SlugFest 20-03 utilizza una tecnologia avanzata di motion capture per dettagliare chiaramente le espressioni facciali e le reazioni di ogni giocatore. Le animazioni sono così precise che i giocatori possono vedere i giocatori sul campo che masticano gomme, parlano tra loro e fanno il tifo per i loro compagni di squadra. Mentre sono al piatto, i giocatori possono scavare e scatenare un'esplosione gigantesca fuori dal parco.
Per aggiungere al baseball autentico consegnato in MLB SlugFest 20-03, cinque volte MLB All-Star Alex Rodriguez apparirà sulla copertina del pacchetto e altro materiale pubblicitario per il gioco.
