Allemand Sie sind unter uns. Wer? Invasoren, Außerirdische oder Aliens. Kurz gesagt: Kleine, grüne Männchen! Damit ein Spiel entstehen kann, müssen sie natürlich böse sein und von unserem schönen Planeten Besitz ergreifen wollen, sonst ist es nicht lustig. Wie du sicher schon erraten hast, lastet die Freiheit auf deinen Schultern und hängt von deiner Treffsicherheit beim Schießen und deinem Geschick ab. Us vs. Them ist ein Luftschießspiel in einer eher klassischen und anspruchslosen Umsetzung, bei der dein Schiff quasi in einen mit Videos animierten Hintergrund eingeblendet wird. Um die Zwischensequenzen dynamischer zu gestalten, wird die Geschichte durch Szenen mit echten Schauspielern in Anlehnung an die Fernsehserien der 80er Jahre untermalt. Das Spiel wird Liebhaber von Science-Fiction, Shootern und Low-Budget-TV-Serien ansprechen. Andere werden eher auf Titel wie M.A.C.H. 3 zurückgreifen.

The game will appeal to lovers of science fiction, shoot and low budget TV series. Others will more readily turn to titles like M.A.C.H. 3.

Français Ils sont parmi nous, qui ça ? Les envahisseurs, les extra-terrestres ou encore les aliens, bref les petits bonhommes verts ! Évidemment pour en faire un jeu il faut qu'ils soient méchants et veuillent prendre possession de notre belle planète, sinon c'est pas drôle.
Vous l'aurez deviné, la liberté repose sur vos épaules et dépend de votre précision au tir et à la voltige.
Us vs. Them est un jeu de shoot aérien à la réalisation assez classique et sans grande prétention où votre vaisseau est plus ou moins bien incrusté dans un fond animé par des vidéos. Pour rendre les intermèdes plus dynamiques, des scènes avec de vrais acteurs ponctuent l'histoire dans un esprit proche des séries TV des années 80.
Le jeu plaira aux amateurs de science fiction, de shoot et de séries télé à petits budgets. Les autres se tourneront plus volontiers vers des titres comme M.A.C.H. 3.
