Allemand Der Wilde Westen... voll von kriminellen Verbrechen. Sir Richard Rose, das meist verachtete Gesicht der Verbrecherbanden, hat genügend Macht um die Bergbauanlagen, Viehfarmen und die Handelsgemeinschaften zu kontrollieren und alles zu seinen Gunsten zu wenden. Mit dieser Macht, kann er sich buchstäblich den Wilden Westen kaufen und alles kontrollieren! Die Menschen brauchen Hilfe, sie sind verzweifelt. Und als die Dinge am finstersten aussahen, kamen 4 Männer in die Stadt geritten, die einen Pakt geschlossen haben: Sir Richard Rose niederzustrecken, um den Menschen im Wilden Westen ein sicheres und friedvolles Leben zu ermöglichen. Steve, Bob, Billy und Cormano sind die Sunset Riders und sie sind dabei die wildeste Schießerei zu führen, die der Wilde Westen je gesehen hat.
Anglais Sunset Riders is a horizontally-scrolling platform shoot-em-up for up to four players set in America's Wild West. Four sharpshooter bounty hunters (Steve, Billy, Bob and Cormano) set out to claim the bounties for killing the most wanted outlaws in the West, before a final showdown against the infamous Sir Richard de la Rose.

The action takes place both on foot and on horseback, with play sometimes broken up with a wild west pursuit; such as having to run along the backs of a herd of fleeing Buffalo. Each level ends with players entering a one-on-one battle against one of the wanted men they have been pursuing.

Power-ups and bonus items can be obtained by entering saloons or defeating certain sack-carrying bandits. The power-ups comes in the form of either a golden sheriff badge (that gives the player's weapon auto-fire) or a silver badge that gives the player a second gun (making it possible to shoot in two directions simultaneously). Both power-ups can be equipped at the same time.

Other weapons that can be used by players include sticks of dynamite carried by female bandits that can be thrown back at the enemy before they explode and a mounted Gatling gun available only in the last stage.

A bonus mini-game appears at the end of Stages 2 and 5 in which players must shoot at enemies from a first-person perspective before the timer runs out.

Espagnol Sunset Riders es un videojuego de arcade creado por Konami en 1991. Está ambientado en el salvaje oeste. El juego fue más tarde convertido a las consolas Mega Drive en 1992, y al SNES en 1993. La versión arcade fue dirigida por H. Tsujimoto, quien está además acreditado en la dirección de la versión arcade de Super Contra.

El juego, el cual está colocado en una ficticia versión del Viejo Oeste estadounidense, se desarrolla sobre cuatro cazarrecompensas quienes buscan su premio por eliminar a los forajidos más buscados del oeste. No hay una verdadera "línea de historia" más que la de recolectar progresivamente recompensas más altas. Al comienzo de cada nivel al jugador se le muestra un cartel de "Se busca", mostrando al criminal, la recompensa por detenerlo, y la línea cliché de "Se busca vivo o muerto".

Français Jouable à 4 simultanément (une version 2 joueurs existe en clone),ce jeux mets en scène des personnages du far-west, chasseurs de primes, aux prises avec toutes sortes d'ennemis frappés du fameux "REWARD" : hors-la-loi, indiens, caids locaux,...

Suivant le personnage choisi et son arme de prédilection (carabine ou pistolet), les tirs n'évoluent pas de la même façon. Les animations sont variées et bourrées d'humour, et la difficulté bien dosée. De plus, l'ambiance sonore, irréprochable, participe à faire de ce jeu un incontournable.

Italien Sunset Riders è un videogioco arcade creato da Konami nel 1991. È ambientato nel Far West. Il gioco fu poi portato su Mega Drive nel 1992 e su SNES nel 1993. La versione arcade fu diretta da H. Tsujimoto, a cui è anche attribuita la direzione della versione arcade di Super Contra.
Il gioco, ambientato in una versione immaginaria del vecchio West americano, segue quattro cacciatori di taglie che cercano una ricompensa per aver eliminato i fuorilegge più ricercati del West. Non esiste una vera e propria "trama" se non quella di raccogliere ricompense sempre più elevate. All'inizio di ogni livello, al giocatore viene mostrato un poster "Ricercato", che mostra il criminale, la ricompensa per la sua cattura e la frase stereotipata "Ricercato vivo o morto".

Quatro caçadores de recompensa de atiradores de elite (Steve, Billy, Bob e Cormano) decidiram reivindicar as recompensas por matar os bandidos mais procurados no Ocidente, antes de um confronto final contra o infame Sir Richard de la Rose.

A ação acontece a pé e a cavalo, com o jogo às vezes interrompido por uma perseguição ao oeste selvagem; como correr nas costas de um rebanho de búfalos em fuga. Cada nível termina com os jogadores entrando em uma batalha individual contra um dos homens procurados que eles estão perseguindo.
