Anglais Our heroes in this title have been sucked into the Devil World after they opened an ancient coffin found in some ruins. Now, they must set out on an adventure through the labyrinthine Devil World to find the demon king, defeat him, and make their way home.

Français Devil World (Dark Adventure) est un jeu d'action en vue de dessus rappelant Gauntlet.
Trois personnages jouables (deux dans les versions européennes et japonaises), chacun équipé d'une arme spécifique, évoluent à travers 40 zones infestées d'ennemis.
Le gameplay repose sur l'exploration, où il faut chercher des clés permettant d'ouvrir la porte menant au niveau suivant.
Le jeu propose également un mode coopératif jusqu'à 3 joueurs selon la version jouée.

Portugais Um arqueólogo chamado Dr. Condor descobre o caixão de um demônio em uma ruína antiga. Durante uma entrevista coletiva anunciando sua descoberta, ele decide abrir o caixão pela primeira vez, apenas para ser transportado para outro mundo ao lado de um repórter chamado Labryna e outro arqueólogo chamado Zorlock. Os três heróis devem agora sair do Mundo do Diabo para derrotar o malvado Rei Demônio que os mantém presos e retornar ao mundo humano.
