Allemand Samurai Shodown IV: Amakusa's Revenge auf Neo Geo ist ein Kampfspiel, das im Japan des Jahres 1789 spielt. Amakusa wurde während des dritten Opus zerstört, ist wiederauferstanden und entschlossen, sich zu rächen. Dieser Titel bringt einige Änderungen am Spielsystem mit sich, insbesondere die Möglichkeit, im Kampf Selbstmord zu begehen, und Todeskombinationen, um den Gegner zu erledigen.

Anglais Bringing a new breath to SNK's swordsman fighting series, this 4th installment marks the return of 3 classic characters (Yagyu Jubei, Charlotte and Tam Tam, now with updated stuff), introduces 2 newcomers for the pantheon (the brothers Sogetsu Kazama and Kazuki Kazama) and brings some new backgrounds.

In spite of these little improvements, the game preserved (and improved a lot) many elements that did the previous one (Samurai Shodown III: Blades of Blood) a quite popular title, like the dodge move and the chance to choose between two versions of the fighter: the standard one and an alternative dark-styled one (SLASH and BUST, respectively).

With the intention to provide more action in the battles, the "No Contest" Moves were introduced: working in similar way (and under certain conditions) to the many games of Mortal Kombat Series, your fighter will execute an ultimate-slaughter move in a stunned opponent.
Espagnol Dando un nuevo aliento a la serie de lucha de espadachines de SNK, esta cuarta entrega marca el regreso de 3 personajes clásicos (Yagyu Jubei, Charlotte y Tam Tam, ahora con material actualizado), presenta a 2 recién llegados al panteón (los hermanos Sogetsu Kazama y Kazuki Kazama) y trae algunos nuevos fondos.

A pesar de estas pequeñas mejoras, el juego conservó (y mejoró mucho) muchos elementos que hicieron del anterior (Samurai Shodown III: Blades of Blood) un título bastante popular, como el movimiento de esquivar y la posibilidad de elegir entre dos versiones del luchador: la estándar y una alternativa de estilo oscuro (SLASH y BUST, respectivamente).

Français Samurai Shodown IV : Amakusa's Revenge sur Neo Geo est un jeu de combat se déroulant en 1789 au Japon. Anéanti lors du troisième opus, Amakusa est ressuscité et bien décidé à prendre sa revanche. Ce titre apporte quelques modifications au système de jeu, en ajoutant notamment la possibilité de se suicider durant le combat et des combos de fatalités pour achever votre adversaire.

Este título traz algumas mudanças no sistema de jogo, incluindo a adição da possibilidade de suicídio durante o combate e combos de fatalidade para acabar com seu oponente.
