Das Spiel hat einen Lizenztitel, der auf der Live Wrestling-Promotion „All Japan Pro Wrestling“ (Zen Nihon Puroresu) basiert. Der Teil "mit Virtua" des Titels bezieht sich auf die Implementierung von Wolf und Jeffrey aus dem Spiel Virtua Fighter als spielbare Charaktere. Ähnlich wie Virtua Fighter ist die Grafik des Spiels vollständig in 3D. Die Aktion wird aus wechselnden Perspektiven gezeigt. Like Virtua Fighter, the graphics of the game are fully in 3D. The action is shown from changing perspectives. There is a large variety of moves available; apart from basic like attack or hold (which can also be modified with the D-pad) there are also taunts and counter moves available, for example.
