Allemand In The Island of Dr. Destructo führst du eine Angriffskampagne gegen die Flotte und das geheime Inselversteck deines Erzfeindes. Du steuerst dein Flugzeug über ein begrenztes Gebiet und musst feindliche Maschinen so abschießen, dass sie gezielt Schaden am Ziel am unteren Bildschirmrand verursachen. Mehrere Treffer an derselben Stelle erzeugen Wasserstrudel, die schließlich zur Zerstörung führen. Dabei triffst du auf unterschiedliche Gegnertypen, von abschießbaren bis hin zu unzerstörbaren Einheiten, denen du geschickt ausweichen musst. Zusätzlich steht dir pro Level eine Bombe für gezielte Angriffe zur Verfügung. Der wechselnde Tag-Nacht-Rhythmus sorgt für zusätzliche Abwechslung und verändert die Spielsituation spürbar.

Anglais In The Island of Dr. Destructo you lead a mission to destroy the enemy fleet and ultimately the island stronghold. You control a plane within a confined area and shoot down enemy aircraft so they crash into a target at the bottom of the screen. Repeated hits at the same spot create whirlpools that eventually destroy the objective. You encounter different enemy types, some destructible and others requiring quick evasion. You also have a bomb available once per level for precise attacks. A day–night cycle adds variety and noticeably changes the gameplay conditions.

Français Vous avez pour mission de détruire la flotte du Dr Destructo, puis son île refuge, au cours de 21 niveaux. Pour ce faire, vous pilotez un avion au-dessus d'une zone restreinte et tirez sur ses avions pour qu'ils chutent et infligent des dégâts à une cible, qui se trouve en gros en bas de l'écran. Si vous tirez plusieurs fois sur un même point, vous finirez par provoquer une vague de fond ; trois vagues de fond et le bateau (ou l'île) coule.

Certains ennemis peuvent être abattus, mais d'autres sont indestructibles et doivent être évités. Vous êtes également armé d'une bombe, qui peut être utilisée pour infliger des dégâts précis une fois par niveau. L'une des caractéristiques de ce jeu est qu'il utilise un cycle jour/nuit.

Portugais Você lidera uma missão para destruir a frota de navios do Dr. Destructo e, por fim, seu esconderijo na ilha, ao longo de 21 níveis. Para isso, pilote um avião sobre uma área limitada e atire neles, fazendo-os cair e causar dano ao objeto alvo, que é exibido em uma área grande na parte inferior da tela. Múltiplos tiros em um ponto específico causarão, por fim, uma tromba d'água; três trombas d'água e o navio (ou ilha) afundará. Alguns inimigos podem ser abatidos, mas outros são indestrutíveis e exigem ação evasiva.
