Uniracers ist eine der erfolgreichsten Veröffentlichungen der Super Nintendo-Ära und mischt plattformbasierte Hochgeschwindigkeitsrennen mit verrückten Stunts und Tricks.

Die Grundidee in den meisten Levels des Spiels ist einfach. Bringe dein Einrad so schnell wie möglich von A nach B und beende es vor deinem Gegner. Es ist wie bei Sonic, nur ohne die lästigen Feinde, sinnlosen Power-Ups und frustrierenden Hindernissen. Eigentlich klingt es gar nicht nach einem richtigen Spiel... Aber hier ist der Schlüssel. Tricks, die während des Rennens ausgeführt und gelandet werden, erhöhen deine Geschwindigkeit. Je besser der Trick, desto größer ist der Geschwindigkeitszuwachs. Außerdem sind einige Levels in Bereichen angesiedelt, die ausschließlich für Stunts gedacht sind. In solchen Levels müssen so viele Style-Punkte wie möglich gesammelt werden, indem Tricks ausführt werden. In diesen Levels geht es nicht gegen einen Gegner, sondern gegen die Uhr und eine bestimmte Punktzahl.

It might seem an odd combination, but it describes Uniracers perfectly. One of the more successful releases of the Super Nintendo's twilight era, Uniracers mixes platform-based high-speed racing, with crazy stunts and tricks.

The basic idea in most levels of the game is simple. Get your unicycle from A to B as quickly as possible, and finish ahead of your opponent. It's like Sonic, but with none of those pesky enemies, pointless power-ups and frustrating obstructions. In fact it doesn't sound like much of a game at all...

Here's the key, though. Tricks performed and landed during the race increase your speed. The better the trick, the greater your increase in speed will be.

Also, some levels are set in areas designed solely for stunts. Such levels require you to earn as many style points as possible, by doing tricks. These levels are against the clock, and a set points score, rather than an opponent.

Unicycles are stupid and difficult, and yet fun, once you get the hang of them. Much the same could be said about Uniracers...

Le but est autant d'aller très vite et finir premier que de faire les figures les plus improbables possible. En mode Courses, le but est d'arriver en tête, et chaque figure correctement réalisée vous fait gagner de la vitesse. Un mode Figures permet de se concentrer uniquement sur les tricks, dans ce cas il faut marquer plus de points que son adversaire pour espérer l'emporter.

Pode parecer uma combinação estranha, mas descreve os Uniracers perfeitamente. Um dos lançamentos de maior sucesso da era crepuscular do Super Nintendo, Uniracers mistura corrida de alta velocidade baseada em plataforma com manobras e truques malucos.

A ideia básica na maioria dos níveis do jogo é simples. Leve seu monociclo de A para B o mais rápido possível e termine na frente do seu oponente. É como o Sonic, mas sem nenhum daqueles inimigos incômodos, power-ups inúteis e obstruções frustrantes. Na verdade, não parece muito um jogo ...
