Anglais Lufia II is an RPG with many puzzle elements thrown in. In this game, the prequel to Lufia I, you are Maxim, a monster hunter. During your journey, you will find new party members, explore and conquer various dungeons, and solve many puzzles.
Lufia II was an innovative game in many regards. It made extensive use of puzzles in its dungeon layouts. It also featured "Capsule Monsters" which would fight alongside your party in battle. They would evolve when fed weapons, armor, or special fruits. You could also gamble away your money in minigames at the casinos found in various towns.

Le jeune guerrier Maxim, qui avait vaincu les Sinistrals au début du premier volet, part à l'aventure avec d'autres personnages dont Artea, Guy et Selan avec qui il affronte les Sinistrals. La réputation de cette série de jeux de rôle est préservée en ce qui concerne la difficulté des énigmes dans les donjons.
Italien Lufia II è un gioco di ruolo con molti elementi di puzzle. In questo gioco, il prequel di Lufia I, siete Maxim, un cacciatore di mostri. Durante il vostro viaggio, troverete nuovi membri del gruppo, esplorerete e conquisterete vari dungeon e risolverete molti enigmi.
Lufia II era un gioco innovativo sotto molti aspetti. Faceva largo uso di enigmi nella disposizione dei dungeon. Presentava anche dei "mostri capsula" che combattevano al fianco del gruppo in battaglia. Si evolvevano quando venivano nutriti con armi, armature o frutti speciali. Si poteva anche giocare d'azzardo nei minigiochi dei casinò presenti nelle varie città.

Portugais Neste universo existe um Herói chamado Maxim que trabalha como Caçador de Monstros em seu tempo livre "(isso que dizer, toda hora). Em uma bela tarde voltando do serviço, Maxim vai até Tia (uma garotinha que possui uma loja nesta pequena cidade) para vender suas tranqueiras e conseguir uns trocados pro pão de amanhã. Tia lhe oferece 120, mas Maxim deseja 180, então Tia especializada na malandragem a 1 minuto e meio de diálogo retruca que a quantidade de monstros aumentou consideravelmente e o produto deixou de ser valorizado. Então Maxim fica espantando com a desvalorização dos trabalhadores hoje em dia, mas... Tia oferece um emprego em sua loja para que Maxim deixe de vagabundar mundo a fora e Maxim recusa, obviamente. Tia então lhe dá o valor desejado de 180 moedas de ouro. A partir daí você continua suas peripécias pelo mundo até que uma estranha mulher vem ao seu encontro e explica o porquê do aumento repentino de monstros, ela fala que 4 entidades malignas estão tentando dominar o mundo e somente você pode resolver essa treta.
