Allemand Super Street Fighter II das beste Beat ?em up im 16-Bit Sektor ist. Denn kein anderes Modul hat so viele Spielmodi, charismatische Charaktere und Tonnen von Special Moves. Über die Jahre hinweg wuchs die Anzahl der Charaktere auf eine stattliche Zahl und nach drei Versionen (2x Super Nintendo, 1x Mega Drive) haben sich 16 Charaktere erneut zusammengefunden, um sich gegenseitig die Zähne. Verschlang die Turboversion aus dem Jahre 1993 noch satte 20 MBit Speicherkapazität, überschreitet Super Street Fighter II dieses Limit mit seinen prallen 32 MBit (Mega Drive Version 40MBit) deutlich. Der Großteil dieses Speichers wurde gebraucht, um die Sprachausgabe vor- und zwischen den Kämpfen aufzustocken und Kenner werden zudem bemerken, dass viele Stages noch ansehnlicher ausgefallen sind. Zu all den Neuerungen wie On-Screen Anzeige für Combos und Punkte, den üblichen Turbosternen und dem ausufernden Optionsmenü haben sich vier neue Charaktere in die Riege von Straßenkämpfern eingefügt. Da wäre zum einen der von Bruce Lee inspirierte Chinese Fei Long, der mit seinem Rekka Ken dem dicken Honda echte Konkurrenz macht. Ins männerdominierte Feld kommt zudem eine aus dem verregneten England stammende Protagonistin hinzu. Cammy, ein Mitglied des Secret Service, versucht durch das Turnier an M. Bison heranzukommen und ihre wahre Identität zu erfahren, da die Gute an Gedächtnisverlust leidet. Die letzten zwei Neuankömmlinge sind Thunder Hawk, ein bulliger Indianer und der jamaikanische Kickboxer Dee Jay, der für seinen ausufernden Kampfstyle bekannt ist.

Anglais This is the sequel to the super hit Street Fighter II Turbo and Street Fighter II Championship games for the SNES and Genesis. This port of the arcade game featured all 4 new characters and stages making a total of 16 playable. The game was packed into massive 32Meg and 40Meg cartridges for the SNES and Genesis. Featured many multiplayer modes in addition to the single player mode. There was the returning elimination group battle where you and a group of people played until one person was the champ. The Point Battle where the person with the most points wins. Newer modes included Tournament where you had an 8 man double elimination tournament. Finally the Challenge mode, where you tried to get the most points on a CPU opponent or beat them real fast trying to surpass records.
Espagnol Super Street Fighter II es una secuela de Street Fighter II Turbo y Street Fighter II Championship. El juego cuenta con cuatro nuevos personajes y etapas, haciendo un total de dieciséis jugables. También cuenta con muchos modos multijugador además del modo de un solo jugador. Entre ellos está de regreso la batalla de grupo de eliminación, donde los jugadores compiten por el título del campeón, y Point Battle, donde gana la persona con más puntos. Los modos más recientes incluyen un torneo de eliminación doble de ocho hombres y un modo de desafío, donde los jugadores intentan obtener el máximo de puntos contra un oponente de la CPU o golpearlos lo más rápido posible, intentando superar los récords.

Français Super Street Fighter II : The New Challengers est une variante de Street Fighter II sortie en 1993 sur Super NES. Quatre nouveaux personnages sont au programme, en plus des boss cachés dans le jeu original, portant le nombre de personnages à un total de 16. Les fonctions multijoueurs apportent également des nouveautés, avec le mode élimination et le mode tournoi à huit. Enfin, il est toujours possible de jouer en solo, en affrontant un à un, tous les personnages du jeu.
Italien Questo è il sequel dei super successi Street Fighter II Turbo e Street Fighter II Championship per SNES e Genesis. Questo porting del gioco arcade presenta tutti e 4 i nuovi personaggi e gli stage, per un totale di 16 giocabili. Il gioco era contenuto in cartucce da 32 e 40 megapixel per SNES e Genesis. Presentava molte modalità multigiocatore oltre alla modalità per giocatore singolo. C'era la battaglia di gruppo a eliminazione, in cui l'utente e un gruppo di persone giocavano finché una persona non diventava il campione. La Battaglia a punti, in cui vinceva chi otteneva il maggior numero di punti. Tra le modalità più recenti c'era il Torneo, in cui si disputava un torneo a doppia eliminazione per 8 persone. Infine la modalità Sfida, in cui si cercava di ottenere il maggior numero di punti su un avversario della CPU o di batterlo molto velocemente cercando di superare i record.
