Allemand Als Spieler hat man die Wahl gleich ins Dragonball-Universum einzusteigen, wo aus vielen verschiedenen aus der Serie bekannten Charakteren gewählt werden darf. Während man die verschiedenen Missionen im Universum bewältigt, kann man immer wieder neue Charaktere freischalten und versteckte Extras erhalten. Wichtig ist dafür, dass man das Universum mit allen Charakteren mehrere Male durchspielt, für Langzeitmotivation ist also gesorgt. Zudem erhält man mit wachsender Erfahrung noch zusätzliche Punkte, mit denen man seine Kämpfer aufleveln und so individuell verstärken kann.
