Allemand Im Schlumpfdorf wird es Nacht. Schlaubi Schlumpf bringt Schlumpfine mit in Papa Schlumpfs Laboratorium, um den magischen Kristall zu sehen, mit dem sie in alle Welt reisen können, aber plötzlich zerbricht Schlumpfine ihn und sie sind weg! Anglais Night falls at the Smurf Village. Inquisitive Smurf brings Smurfette along to Papa Smurfs' laboratory to see the Magic Crystal that allows them to travel to anywhere in the world, but suddenly Smurfette breaks it, and they are gone! Now they must face the challenges in all continents in order to retrieve all shards of the Crystal and return home.

A classic platformer, this title allows the player to choose between Inquisitive Smurf and Smurfette (there are no differences between characters) and collect all 10 shards scattered on the playfield. There is a larger emphasis on exploring the levels rather than killing enemies (no score is given for them), so they can be avoided in most occasions, but if the needs arise, be dealt with a kick or in Mario fashion by jumping over them. Some shards can only be obtained by jumping on an enemy, using the sprint jump or using the scenario (ropes, or vines). While large falls don't harm the Smurfs, improper contact with enemies does. Each 1-up has four hearts, and at the fifth contact a life is lost and the player must restart the level. Once all lives are lost, the game is over - there are no continues. To fill the meter there are hearts and small Smurf icons scattered or hidden somewhere in the level, and on all stages there's a key that unlocks a bonus level if all three are collected at the end of the continent. In these bonus levels the player collects as much objects as possible which translate into hearts when the time closes. If the player fills the meter, a 1-up is awarded.
Espagnol La noche cae en la Villa Pitufo. Pitufo Inquisitivo lleva a Pitufina al laboratorio de Papa Pitufo para ver el Cristal Mágico que les permite viajar a cualquier parte del mundo, pero de repente Pitufina lo rompe y se van. Ahora deben enfrentar los desafíos en todos los continentes para recuperar todos los fragmentos del Cristal y regresar a casa. Un juego de plataformas clásico, este título permite al jugador elegir entre Pitufo Inquisitivo y Pitufina (no hay diferencias entre los personajes) y recoger los 10 fragmentos dispersos en el campo de juego. Hay un mayor énfasis en explorar los niveles en lugar de matar a los enemigos (no se les da puntuación), por lo que se pueden evitar en la mayoría de las ocasiones, pero si surgen las necesidades, se les puede dar una patada o al estilo Mario un salto sobre ellos. Algunos fragmentos solo se pueden obtener saltando sobre un enemigo, usando el salto de velocidad o usando el escenario (cuerdas o vides). Si bien las grandes caídas no perjudican a los Pitufos, el contacto indebido con los enemigos sí lo hace.

Français Les Schtroumpfs : Autour du Monde est un jeu de plates-formes sur Megadrive. Alors qu'un Schtroumpf et la Schtroumpfette se rendent chez le Grand Schtroumpf pour observer un cristal qui fait voyager, vous vous retrouvez coincés dans un lieu inconnu. Il faudra retrouver votre chemin en parcourant les niveaux répartis aux quatre coins du monde.

Travel the World ou Smurfs 2 é a continuação direta do jogo anterior e adapta os últimos episódios da série das criaturas azuis. Na história, Smurfette acaba quebrando um poderoso cristal capaz de levar seu usuário para qualquer parte do mundo. Quebrado em diversas partes, é responsabilidade dos Smurfs reunir os fragmentos espalhados em diversos locais do mundo e reuni-los novamente. Mais um jogo plataforma, com uma grande ênfase na exploração, sendo que o jogador pode evitar enfrentar diretamente os inimigos.
