Anglais Woody has been stolen from the bedroom, ready to be sold to the highest bidder by an evil toy collector. It's up to good friend Buzz Lightyear to fight his way through from the bedroom to the outside world in order to save Woody from the toy market and bring him home. All of the character from the 3D animated movie appear through-out the side scroller to help Buzz get to where he is needed. Along with the use of his cannon, Buzz can jump to hard to reach places, also useful in collecting the hidden coins that open bonus levels.

Français Toy Story 2 sur Playstation est un jeu de plates-formes dans lequel vous incarnez Buzz l'éclair, un Ranger de l'espace. Vous avez du pain sur la planche car Woody a été enlevé par un collectionneur de jouets sans scrupules. 15 niveaux durant, sautez, tournoyez et utilisez les accessoires à disposition (laser, jet boots) dans un univers directement adapté du long métrage de Disney/Pixar.
Italien Woody è stato rubato dalla camera da letto, pronto per essere venduto al miglior offerente da un malvagio collezionista di giocattoli. Tocca al buon amico Buzz Lightyear farsi strada dalla camera da letto al mondo esterno per salvare Woody dal mercato dei giocattoli e riportarlo a casa. Tutti i personaggi del film d'animazione 3D appaiono sullo scroller laterale per aiutare Buzz ad arrivare dove serve. Oltre all'uso del suo cannone, Buzz può saltare in luoghi difficili da raggiungere, utili anche per raccogliere le monete nascoste che aprono livelli bonus.

Cabe ao bom amigo Buzz Lightyear abrir caminho do quarto para o mundo exterior a fim de salvar Woody do mercado de brinquedos e trazê-lo para casa. Todos os personagens do filme animado em 3D aparecem no controle lateral para ajudar Buzz a chegar onde ele é necessário. Junto com o uso de seu canhão, Buzz pode pular para lugares difíceis de alcançar, também úteis para coletar as moedas escondidas que abrem níveis de bônus.
