A new gang of cyborg-enhanced goons threatens peace in the city, so "Doc" decides to test his newest creations: Raita and Azuki, by sending them to destroy all the baddies and restore peace.

The game plays as an 2D action platformer as previous entries in the series, in which you proceed through each stage pummeling enemies and collecting power-ups to enhance your powers. Now for the first time each character has unique abilities and attacks, furthermore each character has a charging attack that can be used to energize your partner thus encouraging teamplay in the two-player cooperative mode.

Français Si certains pensaient que la série des Schbibin Man/Shockman de NCS, débutée en 1989 sur PC Engine, s'était arrêtée avec la mort de la machine, ils en sont pour leurs frais. Tu vas me dire, il faut déjà connaître, parce que ce clone de Megaman n'est pas un jeu spécialement populaire. Quoi qu'il en soit, cet épisode-ci a donc fait le grand saut pour passer d'un support moyennement vendeur (la PCE, donc), à un support pas du tout vendeur, le Satellaview.
opéré un reboot complet. Et pour cause puisqu'il s'agit d'une prequel, donc d'un épisode censé se passer avant les précédents. Tasuke et Kyapiko passent donc à la trappe, de même que le Doc et Dark Skull.
Ici, ce sont les Schbibin Man & Schbibin Woman Raita et Azuki les héros. Mais qu'est-ce que c'est que ces schmilblick machin ? me demanderez-vous. Eh bien ce sont des sortes de cyborgs, des robots avec un esprit humain n'd'dans. Ils sont l'oeuvre du professeur Jinguii (ce n'était donc pas le Doc qui les avait créés ? Mais ?! On m'aurait menti ?) et luttent sans merci contre les hordes de soldats aux ordres de Shen Kung Si, alias Bille de Clown. Preuve que l'on peut être mégalomane et ridicule à la fois.
