Anglais Super Mario RPG is a console RPG starring none other than Nintendo's popular character Mario. This game starts off like almost every other Mario game, with Bowser kidnapping Princess Toadstool. However, when Mario goes to Bowser's Keep to save her, a giant sword made by the evil Smithy crashes into the castle and sends Mario, the Princess, and Bowser flying to separate parts of the world.

The game plays much like a traditional RPG: Mario and the members of his party gain experience points by defeating enemies. These experience points can increase the team's maximum number of hit points and flower points (magic points). The battles are also turn-based, but this time there are timed attacks and defenses. Timed attacks allow you to inflict more harm than normal to an enemy. Timed defenses, on the other hand, allow an enemy to inflict less harm than normal. You are only allowed to have three out of five team members on your party at a time. Mario is always in your party, regardless. Your team members can also purchase more weapons and abilities, along with better armor.
Espagnol El tipo de vista es isométrico y, pese a que se trata de un RPG, todavía contiene muchos de los elementos clásicos de un plataformas y de los juegos de Super Mario. Mario puede correr y saltar y coger cosas ocultas en bloques sobre su cabeza, que se rompen saltando y golpeándolos con su cabeza, como en un juego clásico de su serie. Sin embargo, los enemigos no caerán al saltar sobre ellos. En esta ocasión, los combates se desarrollan por turnos, y normalmente las peleas empiezan con un encontronazo con un enemigo, que se va desplazando por un escenarios particular, así que saltar sobre él solo implicará que tendremos que luchar contra él. Como en cualquier otro RPG, nuestros personajes subirán de nivel, lo que les hará más fuertes, con más vida y aprenderán nuevas técnicas. También habrá poblados y ciudades donde podemos recabar información, comprar armas e items o recuperar fuerzas. El mapeado para llegar a las diferentes zonas es de similar estilo a otros juegos de la saga como Super Mario Bros 3 o Super Mario World.

Il s'agit d'un jeu de rôle prenant place dans l'univers de Mario, avec ce dernier pour personnage principal. Comme à l'accoutumée, Mario doit délivrer la Princesse Peach, emprisonnée dans la forteresse de Bowser. Mais cette fois-ci, Smithy, un autre ennemi mystérieux va se mêler à la bagarre en s'emparant du château de Bowser. Mario fera la rencontre de nombreux personnages dans sa quête pour terrasser Smithy.
Italien Super Mario RPG è un gioco di ruolo per console con protagonista nientemeno che il popolare personaggio di Nintendo, Mario. Questo gioco inizia come quasi tutti gli altri giochi di Mario, con Bowser che rapisce la Principessa Toadstool. Tuttavia, quando Mario va alla Fortezza di Bowser per salvarla, una spada gigante fabbricata dalla malvagia Fucina si schianta contro il castello e fa volare Mario, la Principessa e Bowser in parti separate del mondo.

Portugais Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars é um JRPG estrelado por nada mais nada menos que o mais popular personagem da Nintendo: Mario. Este jogo inicia como qualquer outro protagonizado pelo bigodudo, com Bowser sequestrando a Princesa Peach. Entretanto, quando Mario chega ao castelo do Bowser para salvar a princesa, uma espada gigante construída pelo maligno Smithy cai no castelo e envia Mario, a Princesa e o próprio Bowser para diferentes partes do mundo.

O jogo funciona omo um JRPG tradicional: Mario e os integrantes de sua equipe ganham experiência derrotando inimigos. Esses pontos de experiência podem aumentar o HP e MP dos personagens. As batalhas também acontecem em turnos, porém, uma inovação presente são os tempos de ataque e defesa. O tempo de ataque permite que você cause mais dano que o normal aos inimigos. O tempo de defesa, por outro lado, permite que um inimigo cause menos dano que o normal. Você pode ter apenas três membros na equipe por vez. Mario precisa estar sempre no time.
