Allemand Ein weiterer Sporttitel in der Nekketsu High Game Serie, diesmal mit den Nekketsu Jungs, die sich beim Baseball an die Gurgel gehen.

Das Spiel bietet einen Einzelspieler-Modus, VS- und Turnier-/Story-Modus. Das Gameplay selbst ist ähnlich wie bei anderen Baseballspielen in dem Sinne, dass es die verschiedenen Phasen des Baseballs (Schlagen, Pitchen, Laufen, etc.) in verschiedene "Minispiele" mit eigenen Kameraeinstellungen und Bedienelementen gliedert.

Wie von einem Nekketsu-Spiel erwartet, kann man es hart spielen, indem man Schläge und Tritte verpasst. Man kann auch die "KI"- oder Willenskraft seiner Spieler nutzen, um Spezialzüge auszulösen. Das strategische Management beschränkt sich auf die Festlegung unterschiedlicher Basisstrategien und Verhaltensweisen für jeden Spieler.

Anglais Another sports title in the Nekketsu High game series, this time featuring the Nekketsu guys go at each other's throat while playing baseball.

The game features a single play, Vs and Tournament/story mode. The gameplay itself is similar to other baseball games in the sense that it subdivides the different stages of baseball (batting, pitching, running bases, etc.) in different "mini games" with their own camera angles and interfaces.

As expected of a Nekketsu game you can play it rough by sneaking punches and kicks to "bend" the rules a bit, you can also use the "ki" or willpower of your players to trigger special moves and strategic management is limited to specifying different base strategies and behaviors for each player.
Espagnol Tatsumi Tachibana, un estudiante de honor y un excelente atleta, es el capitán del equipo del equipo de béisbol de Nekketsu High. Kunio-Kun fait partie de la série des "Kunio" mettant en scène des délinquants qui se battent ou font du sport, pour celui-ci c'est un jeu de baseball. Le jeu dispose d'un mode "story" proposant entre les matches quelques "scènes" hilarantes. Comme tous les jeux de Baseball, les parties se découpent en deux phases : l'attaque et la défense. En attaque, il faut frapper la balle au bon moment et en plaçant son joueur au bon endroit. Mais avant ça on choisit le type de frappe qu'on souhaite réaliser (frappe de bourrin, amorti ...). Ensuite, pour la défense, si le batteur adverse parvient à frapper la balle, il nous faut essayer de la rattraper.Il faut arriver à s'y retrouver tout en gardant un oeil sur le radar situé en bas de l'écran pour se situer.

Il gioco ha una modalità "storia" che offre alcune esilaranti "scene" tra le partite. Come tutti i giochi di baseball, i giochi sono divisi in due fasi: attacco e difesa. In attacco, devi colpire la palla al momento giusto e posizionando il tuo giocatore nel posto giusto. Ma prima scegliamo il tipo di colpo che vogliamo ottenere (pugno, ammortizzazione ...). Poi, per la difesa, se il battitore avversario riesce a colpire la palla, dobbiamo cercare di prenderlo. Devi orientarti tenendo d'occhio il radar nella parte inferiore dello schermo per localizzarti.

Kunio-kun ("Downtown Hot-Blooded Baseball Story: É Kunio-Kun's Baseball Bout!", Aproximadamente) é um jogo de beisebol com personagens Kunio-kun da Technos Japan. Fiel ao espírito combativo de Kunio-kun, Downtown Nekketsu Baseball Monogatari permite aos jogadores (e ao computador) empregar ataques especiais e outras técnicas violentas para vencer a partida.

Semelhante aos jogos Dodgeball Kunio-kun, o jogador tem que lutar contra uma série de oponentes cada vez mais difíceis enquanto segue uma história abrangente. A jogabilidade lembra superficialmente o Super Famista / Super Batter Up e seu arremessador / batedor alinhado verticalmente, mas tende a mudar para diferentes visões de câmera da bola depois que ela é rebatida e vai do defensor à base. São semelhantes às cenas dramáticas dos jogos do Capitão Tsubasa.
