Allemand Break Through war ein ambitioniertes Projekt aus den frühen 1990er-Jahren, als die kommerzielle Zeit des C64 bereits ihrem Ende entgegenging. Eine frühe Version erschien auf einem Power Pack, wurde später jedoch überarbeitet und schließlich eingestellt. Besonders auffällig ist die Nutzung einer Baukasten-Engine, die eigentlich nur vertikal scrollte, hier jedoch in einen seitlich scrollenden Shooter verwandelt wurde – ergänzt um größere Gegner und zusätzliche Effekte. Trotz vielversprechender Grafik und Musik verhinderten interne Änderungen und ungenutzte Mock-up-Grafiken die Fertigstellung. So bleibt Break Through ein eindrucksvolles Beispiel technischer Kreativität in der späten C64-Ära.

Anglais Break Through was an ambitious early-1990s project created during the declining commercial years of the C64. An early version appeared on a Power Pack but was later revised and ultimately abandoned. Notably, it used a construction kit engine normally limited to vertical scrolling, which was transformed into a sideways shooter with added enhancements such as larger enemies and custom effects. Despite promising graphics and music, internal changes and unused mock-up artwork prevented completion. As a result, Break Through remains a striking example of technical creativity in the C64's late era.
