Allemand Merlwood war einst ein Land des Friedens und des Wohlstands. Alles war ruhig, bis ein ehrgeiziger Zauberer namens Abadon begann, nach Macht zu streben. Abadon überwältigte die anderen Zauberer, brachte das Böse über das Land und machte sich selbst zu dessen Herrscher. Nur Paul, ein junger Zauberlehrling, war übrig, um sich ihm entgegenzustellen. Kannst du Paul zum Sieg führen, oder wird Abadon Merlwood für immer beherrschen?

Anglais Merlwood was once a land of peace and prosperity. The people lived in harmony with one another and with their surroundings, thanks to the benevolent influence of the native wizards and their magical arts. All was calm until one ambitious wizard named Abadon began to lust for power. Abadon overwhelmed the other wizards, brought evil upon the land, and made himself its master. Only Paul, a young magician's apprentice, was left to oppose him. Can you guide Paul to victory, or will Abadon rule Merlwood forever?

Magician is a 2D, side-scrolling action RPG. As Paul, you must travel through towns, have conversations with non-player characters, acquire and manage inventory (food, water, weapons, potions, etc.), learn magic spells, fight battles, and solve puzzles. Your ultimate goal: collect each of the four elemental vials -- earth, air, fire, and water -- and combine them to create the Ultimate Potion. Only then can you hope to vanquish the evil wizard Abadon!

Français Magician sur Nes est un jeu de rôle en scrolling horizontal dans lequel vous incarnez Paul un apprenti magicien du pays de Serenna qui part en quête initiatique pour apprendre la magie des maîtres mages du pays de Merlwood. Le joueur devra naviguer à travers nombre de puzzles pour acquérir des objets, armes et nouveaux sorts afin de libérer le pays du joug d'Abadon, le méchant sorcier.

Le persone vivevano in armonia tra loro e con l'ambiente circostante grazie all'influenza benevola degli stregoni nativi e delle loro arti magiche. Tutto taceva finché un mago ambizioso di nome Abadon iniziò a lottare per il potere. Abadon ha sopraffatto gli altri stregoni, ha portato il male nel paese e si è fatto suo sovrano. Solo Paul, un giovane apprendista stregone, rimase ad affrontarlo. Riuscirai a portare Paul alla vittoria o Abadon regnerà per sempre su Merlwood?
