Anglais Gargoyles is based on the Disney Afternoon TV series of the same name that ran from 1994-1997.

In this 18 level, side-scrolling platform game, players take control of the gargoyle's leader, Goliath, as he sets out to take on a looming threat that could mean the end of the world: an ancient and mysterious relic known as the Eye of Odin.

When the sun sets, Goliath awakens to travel the world through 1,000 years of time to destroy this evil artifact, facing enemies ranging from vikings, to robotic foes such as Raptorbots, Spiderbots, and Waspbots.

Throughout the adventure, Goliath can climb huge, gothic buildings to avoid enemy fire and projectiles, attack and claw foes in mid-air and on the ground, or somersault to break crumbling walls.

En este pataformas de scroll lateral de 18 fases, los jugadores controla al lider de las gargolas, Goliath, mientras se dispone a afrontar una amenaza inminente que podria suponer el fin del mundo: una antigüa y misteriosa reliquia conocida como el Ojo de Odin.

Cuando el sol se pone, Goliath despierta para viajar por el mundo a lo largo de 1,000 años para destruir este artefacto maligno, enfrentandose a enemigos que van desde vikingos, a enemigos roboticos como Raptorbots, Spiderbots, y Waspbots.

Durante la aventura, Goliath podra escalar enormes edificios goticos para evitar ataques y proyectiles enemigos, atacar con sus garras enemigos en tierra y aire, o rodar para romper paredes ruinosas.

Portugais Gargoyles é baseado na série de TV do "Disney Afternoon" "Gárgulas" que foi exibida em 1994-1997.

Tudo começou na Escócia medieval, onde uma antiga e legendária raça conhecida como Gárgulas, travava uma batalha sangrenta contra os impiedosos Vikings. Estes tinham em seu poder um artefato místico conhecido como Olho de Odin e transformaram Goliath, líder dos gárgulas, em uma estátua de pedra. 1000 anos depois, este feitiço se acabou e Goliath reapareceu no meio de Manhattan, onde continuou sua busca pelo talismã do mal. Apesar de sua aparência monstruosa ele é o único capaz de destruir o Olho de Odin, caso contrário, o futuro da humanidade será tão sombrio quanto o seu passado.
