Anglais Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is a re-release of Halo: Combat Evolved for the Xbox 360, intended to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Halo series.

The anniversary edition comes with the same single player campaign, the only difference being that the player can switch between the graphics engine used in the original Combat Evolved (for identical graphics to the original), or switch to the same graphics engine used in Halo: Reach (for more modern graphics) at any point during the campaign, even mid session. The campaign also supports co operative gameplay.

The multiplayer portion of the game has all the same maps featured in the original as well as several new ones, and like the single player, players can switch between the classic and modern graphics at any point during the session. The multiplayer has also been enhanced with some of the features from the more recent Halo games including emblems, weapon loadouts, customisable armour and selectable gender.

Français Halo Combat Evolved Anniversaire est un FPS sur Xbox 360. Remake HD du premier épisode de la série, cette version conserve à l'identique son gameplay mais permet de switcher à tout moment entre le moteur graphique d'origine et le nouveau. Le soft se voit également remastérisé au niveau sonore et renforcé par des cinématiques inédites. Autres nouveautés, la campagne originale est désormais jouable en ligne en coopération et le jeu bénéficie de 6 maps multijoueurs issues des deux premiers Halo.
