Anglais Prince Alexander has finally returned to Daventry Court. Unable to contain his joy, King Graham decides to pass his adventurer's cap to his beloved son. But as he sends it off, Graham is seized by a violent chest pain and collapses to the ground. Later, the family stands helplessly by the King's bedside. Princess Rosella, in despair, weeps alone in the Throne Room. Then a fairy appears in the Magic Mirror and offers to help her find a cure for her father, on condition that she comes with her to her world...

Mais au moment où il l'envoie, Graham est pris d'une violente douleur à la poitrine et s'écroule sur le sol. Plus tard, la famille, impuissante, veille au chevet du Roi. La Princesse Rosella, désespérée, se retrouve seule à pleurer dans la Salle du Trône. C'est alors qu'une fée apparaît dans le Miroir Magique et lui propose de l'aider à trouver un remède pour son père à condition qu'elle vienne avec elle dans son monde...
