Allemand CLOSE COMBAT - FIRST TO FIGHT ist ein moderner militärischer First-Person-Shooter.

Der Spieler führt ein Marine-Feuerteam in einer fiktiven Kampagne, die in Beirut, Libanon, stattfindet. Zu bestimmten Zeiten im Einzelspielerspiel ist es möglich, Mörserangriffe und Luftangriffe zu fliegen. Die Feinde verfügen über ein Psychomodell, das dem der klassischen RTS-Serie Close Combat ähnelt und sie dazu veranlasst, sich zu verstecken oder sogar zu fliehen, wenn sie genug Feuer abbekommen.

Das Spiel bietet einen Co-Op-Modus für bis zu vier Spielern sowie ein Multiplayer-Deathmatch.

Verfügbare Waffen sind: M16A4, M203 Grenade Launcher, M249 SAW, M590 Shotgun, M67 Frag Grenade, M8HC Smoke Grenade, AK-74, SVD Sniper Rifle, M1911 Pistol, RPG-7 und RPK.

Anglais Close Combat: First to Fight is a modern military first-person shooter. The player leads a marine fireteam in a fictional campaign taking place in Beirut, Lebanon. At certain times in the single player game, it's possible to call in mortar strikes and air strikes. Enemies have a psych-model similar to what is in the classic RTS Close Combat series, which causes them to hunker down, or even flee when they take enough fire. The game features four player co-op through the entire single player campaign, as well as multiplayer deathmatch. Available weapons are: M16A4, M203 Grenade Launcher, M249 SAW, M590 Shotgun, M67 Frag Grenade, M8HC Smoke Grenade, AK-74, SVD Sniper Rifle, M1911 Pistol, RPG-7, and RPK.

Evoluant dans des environnements de combat actuels et urbains, le joueur dirige une équipe de quatre US Marines dans une zone de guérilla urbaine.
