Anglais When a new website that shows the manner of people's deaths in advance makes the rounds amongst Japanese high schoolers, a trio of students is shocked to witness their own deaths in a terrible subway accident just minutes away. They narrowly escape the carnage, only to find themselves in a worse situation--facing otherworldly demons. Desperate to survive, they fend off the demons and flee, but the destruction at the station is only the beginning...

Il raconte l'histoire de lycéens japonais qui réalise dans un pacte leur permettant d'invoquer des démons et de combattre des créatures mystérieuses envahissant et détruisant le pays. L'intrigue peut se dérouler différemment selon les actions du joueur qui assume le rôle d'un jeune dompteur de démons silencieux impliqué dans cet incident. Devil Survivor 2 est un jeu de rôles tactique qui suit son prédécesseur, il implique de contrôler plusieurs dompteurs de démons dans leurs combats contre différents ennemis et d'acquérir de nouvelles compétences dans le processus. Le jeu a de nouveaux ajouts tels que le système de destin où le joueur peut interagir avec d'autres acteurs ainsi que les compétences raciales évolutives.
