Allemand Im zweiten Call of Duty-Spiel CALL OF DUTY 2 - BIG RED ONE ziehen die Spieler erneut in die Schlacht des Zweiten Weltkriegs.

Wie bei anderen Call of Duty-Spielen liegt der Schwerpunkt auf den Charakteren und ihrem Drama inmitten der rasanten, stark geskripteten Ego-Action. Als Gefreiter, der neu in den Krieg in Amerikas legendärster Infanteriedivision zieht, die wegen ihres markanten Abzeichens den Spitznamen "Big Red One" trägt, kämpft sich der Spieler als Team in der Fighting First durch das Spiel und wird vom Verlust von Freunden auf dem Schlachtfeld betroffen sein.

Die Spieler müssen die Erfolge des Zweiten Weltkriegs in einer Vielzahl von Land-, See- und Lufteinsätzen in Afrika, Sizilien und der Normandie nachspielen, wobei sie Fahrzeuge wie Panzer, Jeeps, gepanzerte Fahrzeuge und Halbkettenfahrzeuge einsetzen. Der Erfolg hängt davon ab, wie gut sich die Spieler bewegen, schießen und die Ziele erfüllen können, die ein kommandierender Offizier vor jeder Mission vorgibt.

Die Xbox- und PS2-Versionen bieten Multiplayer-Spiele mit bis zu 16 Spielern.

Anglais In the second Call of Duty game for consoles, players again take to battle in The Second World War. As with other Call of Duty games, the focus is on the characters and their drama amidst the furious, heavily scripted, first-person action. As a private new to war in America's most legendary infantry division, nicknamed the Big Red One for the distinctive patch they wore, players will fight through the game as a team in the Fighting First and will be affected by the loss of friends on the battlefield.

Players will have to re-enact the successes of World War II through a wide variety of land, sea, and air missions in Africa, Sicily, and Normandy, by using vehicles including tanks, jeeps, armored cars, and half-tracks. Success will depend on how well players can move, shoot, and complete the objectives that a commanding officer provides before each mission.

The Xbox and PS2 versions offer multiplayer games with up to 16 players.
