Allemand Heart of the Alien ist seinem Vorgänger vom Gameplay und vom grafischen Stil her ähnlich und spielt direkt nach den Ereignissen von Another World. Es enthält wieder den „Alien-Freund“, der dem menschlichen Protagonisten durch das Original geholfen hat. Auf die Ereignisse des Vorgängers wird nur in der verlängerten Einführung Bezug genommen.

Die Story knüpft genau am Ende des ersten Teils an. Lesters Alien-Freund landet den Flugsaurier in den Ruinen seines Heimatdorfes, legt Lester zur Erholung in eine Hütte und läuft durch das Dorf, wobei er sich an seine Vergangenheit erinnert. Diese Sequenz enthält viele monochrome Rückblenden, die die bisherigen Ereignisse, die zur Gefangenschaft des Aliens und dessen sowie Lesters Entkommen aus dem Gefängnis darstellen.

Durch das gesamte Spiel hindurch sucht der Freund den rotäugigen Alien, der für die Zerstörung seines Dorfes und die Gefangennahme seiner Bewohner verantwortlich ist. Nachdem Lester genesen ist, hilft er seinem Freund bei dieser Aufgabe. Am Ende werden alle Gefangenen befreit, die Festung niedergebrannt, allerdings stirbt Lester dabei und wird feuerbestattet.

Anglais Heart of the Alien is a cinematic platformer video game developed by Interplay Entertainment and Virgin Interactive and was released by Virgin Interactive in 1994 for the Sega CD exclusively in North America. It is a sequel to Another World and continues the story directly from where the original ended. The game switches the player's role from Another World; this time the player takes control of Buddy, the main character's alien ally from the previous game.

The story picks up immediately after the end of Another World. Buddy lands the pterodactyl in the ruins of his village, lays Lester down on a cot to rest and walks through the village, thinking of his past. This sequence contains many flashbacks of events that lead up to Buddy's capture and his and Lester's escape from prison. In the game, Buddy is searching for the red-eyed alien responsible for the destruction of his village and the imprisonment of his people. Buddy enters again the prison in search of the red-eyed alien.

Near the end of the game, Lester who wakes back up, helps Buddy out, but then dies in the process. Buddy then goes to find again the red-eyed alien in a fortress. Eventually, he is able to find him and traps him in a cage with a beast that kills him. At the end of the game, Buddy gives Lester's body a ceremonial cremation. It is shown later how Buddy's village is rebuilt with its citizens living again in harmony.

Espagnol Heart of the Alien es un videojuego de plataformas cinemáticas desarrollado por Interplay Entertainment y Virgin Interactive y lanzado por Virgin Interactive en 1994 para el CD Sega exclusivamente en Norteamérica. Es una secuela de Another World y continúa la historia directamente desde donde terminó el original. El juego cambia el rol del jugador de Another World; esta vez el jugador toma el control de Buddy, el aliado alienígena del personaje principal del juego anterior. La historia comienza inmediatamente después del final de Another World. Buddy aterriza el pterodáctilo en las ruinas de su pueblo, deja a Lester en un catre para descansar y camina por el pueblo, pensando en su pasado. Esta secuencia contiene muchos flashbacks de eventos que conducen a la captura de Buddy y su escape de Lester de la prisión. En el juego, Buddy está buscando al alienígena de ojos rojos responsable de la destrucción de su aldea y el encarcelamiento de su gente.
