Portugais Em Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden, não vemos personagens modelados em 3D e cobertos com a tecnologia cel shading, como visto em vários jogos da série Dragon Ball para consoles de videogame. DBZ Extreme Butoden vai na contramão da inovação e aposta em sprites em duas dimensões. O recurso em si não é ruim, mas nesse caso específico não foi bem implementado.
