Allemand In Tilt steuert der Spieler eine Kugel durch ein Labyrinth, indem er den Bildschirm so dreht, dass die Kugel in ein Loch rollt. Aus der Vogelperspektive muss die Kugel vorsichtig durch das Labyrinth manövriert werden, da ein Kontakt mit den Wänden einen Neustart bedeutet und verbrauchte Energie dabei verloren geht – und diese ist begrenzt. Auf jedem Bildschirm gibt es Tore, die durch Drücken des Feuerknopfes im richtigen Moment geöffnet werden müssen. Mit fortschreitendem Spiel wird die Kugel größer, was die Steuerung anspruchsvoller macht. Zudem gibt es Fallen, die aktiv bleiben, wenn das Labyrinth stillsteht – ständige Bewegung ist daher erforderlich.

Anglais Viewed from above, the task in Tilt is to rotate the screen so as to guide a ball across a maze into a hole. Unfortunately, if the ball hits any of the walls en route you have to start again, which means that the energy used on the previous tilts is wasted (and you only have a limited amount). There are a number of gates on each screen, which you must open by pressing the fire button at the right moments. As the game progresses the ball gradually gets bigger, giving you less margin for error on maneuvering it. There are also traps to avoid - these are active if the maze isn't tilting, so you'll have to keep it moving.

Français Vu de dessus, le but de Tilt est de faire pivoter l'écran pour guider une balle à travers un labyrinthe jusqu'à un trou. Malheureusement, si la balle heurte un mur, il faut recommencer, ce qui signifie que l'énergie dépensée lors des inclinaisons précédentes est perdue (et vous n'en avez qu'une quantité limitée). Chaque écran comporte plusieurs portes qu'il faut ouvrir en appuyant sur le bouton de tir au bon moment. Au fur et à mesure que le jeu progresse, la balle grossit, réduisant ainsi la marge d'erreur. Il faut également éviter des pièges, actifs lorsque le labyrinthe est immobile; il est donc impératif de maintenir la balle en mouvement.
