Allemand WayForward, das Studio hinter dieser Adventure Time-Adaption, hat sich in der Tat dafür entschieden, das Cartoon-Universum in ein Zelda-ähnliches Spiel zu übertragen, was auf den ersten Blick recht erfolgreich ist. Mit seinem 2D-Grafikstil und der Draufsicht bezieht sich The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom direkt auf das berühmte A Link to the Past, ein Augenzwinkern, das durch die Weltkarte unterstützt wird, die den gleichen Linien wie die von Zelda 3 folgt und fast die gleichen Orte bietet: ein Schloss, einen Wald, einen Friedhof, eine Wüste, ... Das Spiel wird wie ein Zelda gespielt. Die Einführung in das Spiel, die als Tutorial fungiert, legt die Grundlagen fest, die den Fans der Welt von Hyrule gut bekannt sind: eine Taste für das Schwert, die Möglichkeit, sein Schild zu benutzen (hier Jake, für die Gelegenheit umgewandelt), und Schlitze im Inventar für die üblichen Gegenstände, die Finn während seiner Suche sammeln wird.

Adventure Time: The Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom is a top-down role-playing adventure game, reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Much like the Zelda games, your primary weapon is a sword and you primary defense is a shield. Instead of jars to store items in, you get plastic bags. Your sword can be upgraded within the game and you can acquire bombs and a ranged weapon to kill enemies as well as a boomerang that can stun enemies.

Français WayForward, le studio derrière cette adaptation d'Adventure Time, a effectivement choisi de transposer l'univers du dessin animé dans un Zelda-like plutôt réussi au premier abord. Adoptant un style graphique 2D avec vue du dessus, le Secret du Royaume Sans Nom renvoie directement au célèbre A Link to the Past, un clin d'oeil appuyé par la carte du monde reprenant les grandes lignes de celle de Zelda 3 et proposant quasiment aux mêmes endroits un château, une forêt, un cimetière, un désert, … Le jeu se joue, du coup, comme un Zelda. L'introduction du jeu, faisant office de tutoriel, pose des bases bien connues pour le fan du monde d'Hyrule : une touche pour l'épée, la possibilité d'utiliser son bouclier (ici Jake, transformé pour l'occasion) avec une gâchette, des emplacements dans l'inventaire réservés aux habituels objets que Finn récupérera au fil de sa quête.

Italien WayForward, lo studio dietro questo adattamento di Adventure Time, ha infatti scelto di trasporre l'universo del cartone animato in un gioco simile a Zelda, che a prima vista risulta piuttosto riuscito. Adottando uno stile grafico 2D con vista dall'alto, The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom si rifà direttamente al famoso A Link to the Past, una strizzatina d'occhio supportata dalla mappa del mondo che segue le stesse linee di quella di Zelda 3 e offre quasi gli stessi luoghi: un castello, una foresta, un cimitero, un deserto, ... Il gioco si svolge come uno Zelda. L'introduzione al gioco, che funge da tutorial, stabilisce le basi ben note ai fan del mondo di Hyrule: un pulsante per la spada, la possibilità di usare il proprio scudo (qui Jake, trasformato per l'occasione) con un grilletto, e slot nell'inventario riservati ai soliti oggetti che Finn raccoglierà durante la sua missione.

Portugais WayForward, o estúdio por detrás desta adaptação Adventure Time, optou de facto por transpor o universo dos desenhos animados para um jogo tipo Zelda que é bastante bem sucedido à primeira vista. Adoptando um estilo gráfico 2D com uma vista de cima, The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom refere-se directamente ao famoso A Link to the Past, um piscar de olhos apoiado pelo mapa do mundo que segue as mesmas linhas que o de Zelda 3 e oferece quase os mesmos lugares: um castelo, uma floresta, um cemitério, um deserto, ... O jogo é jogado como um Zelda. A introdução ao jogo, que funciona como um tutorial, estabelece as bases que são bem conhecidas dos fãs do mundo de Hyrule: um botão para a espada, a possibilidade de usar o seu escudo (aqui Jake, transformado para a ocasião) com um gatilho, e ranhuras no inventário reservado para os itens habituais que Finn irá recolher durante a sua busca.
