Anglais The Fatal Frame series is back. Rei Kurosawa's fiancé, Yuu Asou, dies in an ugly car accident when she is driving. She enters a haunted mansion as part of a reporting assignment. Here she is frightened by images of her dead fiancé. The game incorporates the camera mode from the previous games, used to capture ghosts. You use the camera obscura not only as a weapon to capture ghosts but as a guide by taking pictures of the ghosts and creepy objects in the house in order to solve the mystery and get rid of the curse. You walk around with a strobe light looking for clues to the mystery.

Throughout the course of the game you can play as three women and switch between a dream world and real-life. All in all, it carries over the same Japanese horror theme as the first two.

Espagnol Una de las novedades para esta tercera entrega de Project Zero es la incorporación de una nueva protagonista, Rei Kurosawa, una fotógrafa de 23 años que contará con la compañía de Kei Amakura, familiar de la victima y con mucho miedo a los fantasmas y todo lo relacionado con lo paranormal. También nos encontraremos a Miku, protagonista de la primera parte y que será el ayudante de Rei. En este juego volveremos a hacer uso de la cámara de fotos para combatir a los fantasmas y para dar más intriga y miedo se alternará entre realidad y pesadilla.

Portugais Project Zero 3: The Tormented para PS2 leva o terror a um nível totalmente novo. O jogador joga com Rei, uma jovem mulher atingida por uma terrível maldição. Você usa a câmera escura como uma arma, mas também como um guia. Fotografe os muitos fantasmas e os objetos surpreendentes do "Manoir du Sommeil" para desvendar o mistério da tatuagem e acabar com a maldição que paira sobre a heroína.
